DetailsDescription and origin: orthodox icon, tempera on wood panel. It represents:
- on the upper left: Mother of God of the Passion (Russian: Strastnaya)
- on the upper right: Mother of God Three-Handed (Russian: Troeruchitsa)
- On the lower laft: the crowned female martyr holding a cross and scroll is very likely Saint Catherine of Alexandria
- On the lower right: she may be Saint Paraskeva, or Saint Irene, or another early female martyr commonly paired in Russian household icons
Dimensions: 31 cm x 26 cm
Age: 18th century (see document attached)
Condition: overall good condition. Some accident and loses of the original painting (see pictures)
